7/22/09 Plantings

Three Men & A Shovel were busy this week preparing new planting beds for irrigation and plants. The plantings were approximately 60 trees, 150 shrubs and 375 perennials. Next we will install drip irrigation, weed fabric, mulch and clean up.

Whiskey Creek Ranch - Three Men & A Shovel Landscaping

Blake & Dennis from DKS pulled out on Friday of last week. We had spent considerable time with them talking about the various landscape elements that we wanted to focus on and how we wanted them to look and feel. We talked at length about the firepit/grove area by the creek. I am really happy with the way that it turned out. I think we must be on the same wavelength or something because it turned out exactly as I had pictured in my mind. It's amazing what happens when you choose the right people for the job.
